Wait a minute. So Obama claims that homosexuality is a choice that individuals make freely, not a genetically-determined state they have no say in? Isn’t that what we’ve said all along? If that’s the case, they can change their minds and stop being homosexual, it only takes an act of will. So which is it, lefties?

The matter of “lifestyle choice” was taken up by the minister at Grace Cathedral when I lived in SF 20 years ago. He made it clear that it was NOT a lifestyle choice, and he could not condone it if people “decided they’d rather be gay.”
OTOH, some people, he said, were clearly born gay, and he had no objection to that.
There really is a huge difference. Obama, of course, is on the far, far left side of this argument. Maybe his obviously female girls will decide they’d rather be boys. Would he “celebrate” them? Probably he would.
Prostitutes, drug pushers...don’t bother me either (come to my door). But that doesn’t make them right. Homos solicit...that’s the ONLY way they can exist.

Finally, he hits something close to truth. Though I do think some are influenced by their environment, and it makes their likelihood of falling into this sin more likely.

Doesn’t matter if you’re eaten up with anger, sexual sin, greed, alcoholism, spiritual pride (common among church attenders), or gluttony....we all are in need of Jesus.
Many are not old enough to remember that 30-40 years ago gays themselves commonly referred to it as a lifestyle choice.

I get sick of this guy always using the term “folks.” Maybe somewhere out there is a decent Braco Bama who has DirecTV and we’re stuck with super-creepy cable Braco Bama. “I’m down at the public pool watchin’ folks swim.”
