Taunting of Muslims a form of fanaticism
The satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has published yet another new cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad (Page 8A, Jan. 18). Supposedly, the purpose is to taunt the so-called Muslim fanatics and to show that the sacred right of free expression will not be compromised. These cartoonists are going overboard. They know that every time a cartoon about the Prophet Muhammad is published, the feelings of more than a billion Muslims are hurt, there are protest demonstrations all over the Muslim world, some fanatics resort to violence, almost always some human lives are lost, and a deep anger against the West results. Wouldn't it be sensible and thoughtful to show respect to the Muslim world and avoid making blatant fun of their prophet, whom they so deeply and dearly love? Keeping on insisting on the right of free expression without any regard to the known and tragic consequences is also a kind of fanaticism.

The Muslim population in the Bay ARea is growing rapidly and has for a number of years.
Sounds like we have some in that population who seek to use the protections of the Constitution to rub their ‘peaceful agendas’ in our heathenous God-fearing little faces.
As for consequences.. Today, they want Sharia courts to be setup and operated separately from our judicial system.
They seek to build more and larger madrassas and mosques across this land..
They have become a farm team system for global support for Terrorism masquerading as a peaceful group of folks just doing Allah’s bidding.

...so, if Christians were to riot and kill people and burn things every time their feelings got hurt over some stupid article or cartoon, the press would leave us alone too?

Amen to your sentiments. These Muslim apologists remind me of these braindead Democrat talking heads who are all over TV defending their party. Both of these groups have one thing in common. They’re both blind to the widespread, senseless destruction to the world that their beliefs and policies have wreaked havoc upon. Too many Muslims want to be blind to the sizable faction within their religion that is militant and degrades and mistreats women worldwide. Democrats turn away from the fact that their liberal policies have financially, socially, and morally bankrupted this country.

The phony complaining of the Muslims and their allies indicates that they really are aware of the thin veneer that most Americans have - that is - repressing their anger here. Just how much patience ought we Americans, i.e especially Christians and Jews, have for Muslims who are repeatedly confronting us with threats, and then carrying out terroristic acts all across the globe?
