“PB and crackers”

a 100 years ago at the children`s orphanage, sweets would get ya a spankin, a big un too
but on saturdays the house mom would gather us all up and get the peanut butter and crackers and pancake maple syrup
she would goob a bunch of pb on a plate, spread it and then pour small amounts of syrup ,stirrin it in
when it was just right, not too wet,but sweet wet enuf
she spread it on the crackers ......bliss, pure bliss
