I was surprised to hear when I came home for lunch that this “monster” storm has been downgraded from “historic” to “potentially historic”.

Did my Whole Foods shopping the other day. I think I'm pretty much set with regard to hummus; kale; quinoa; artisan black corn chips; manuka honey encrusted pinoa nuts; avocade creme fraiche; and Kentish apple and sorrel sorbet.
Hopefully this blizzard doesn't keep me housebound for that long or I'll starve to death.

Well, five minutes ago on New England Cable News (NECN), they are saying that there will very likely be MORE than 3 feet of snow in some areas.
The famous Blizzard of '78, which I well remember as the largest snowstorm in my lifetime, was 27.1" in accumulation, according to the chart of Boston's biggest snow storms.
