Be not quick to condemn the House of Saud. It is the worst possible government on the face of the earth except for what would surely follow if it were ever overthrown.

The KSA is run like a Mafia Family Business. Each Prince has a crew and controls a piece of the action. For example, any, and I do mean any from a hamburger franchise to a giant steel mill, business done in the KSA requires a princely sponsor who gets a substantial cut'o'the action. He ain't happy, ain't nobody gonna be happy.

Just as within Tony Soprano's organization, there are constantly shifting alliances and loyalties among the Princes as they jockey for position in or out of the government. 'Princes of the Blood' numbering about 4,000 are the real big deals and are multi-gabillionaires. Then there are other Princes, perhaps born of lower ranking wives, even concubines, or they may be distant relatives. All the princes, high and low, get huge multi-million dollar payments from the King. Each has many wives and concubines (usually) and a devoted posse of retainers, flunkies, button men, advisors, etc. 2-300 maybe. Each has a religious connection to some Imam or other, whose jihads, schools, and mosques he supports, whether mild or bloodthirsty ... or both. While a Prince of the Blood may be Minister of Defense, or Commander in Chief of the National Guard or Army, or Minister of the Interior, (They are different and not related), your garden variety Prince will have the Ford Dealerships in one province, or the MacDonalds Franchises in Mecca, and be given a lower cut of the oil swag, suffering mightily with only $5 or $6 hundred million.

The deal is simple. The KSA and its King are anything and everything we want them to be, or not, simultaneously. They are good poker players, too.

I believe that is the reason the Saudis are against fellow Sunnis in ISIS.
The Sauis fear ISIS will take over and the Saudi family will be reduced in stature.

The Saudis want us infidels dead like ISIS, but the Saudis like worldly things more so than ISIS, who seem to want to die fighting us and avoid worldly things, to get a supernatural reward.

The Saudis want it both ways.-Tom

I want a President that the house of Saud fears more than ISIS, is that too much to ask?

No luck there, me hearty bucko! The House of Saud may have ridden into town last night, but their Rolls has headlights and they could spot a "flexible" wimp a mile away. They figure ISIS is a lot closer.

Although more than half of our fellow citizens adore Barry, less than half the known outside world would agree. They figured this fellow Obama out quite a while ago.

It is to much to ask and expect.

ISIS would invade Saudi Arabia and take over if given the opporunity. Not much we can do now in that part of the world now that we have retreated.

Sunni Isis could get help from Shiite Iran, if the Iranians rabble rouse the minority Shia in Saudi Arabia to fight against the house of Saud. ISIS could join in.
This would be similar to what Iran did in backing the minority Shia in Yemen.
This helped ISIS out in Yemen since the Infidel cooperating Govt. of Yemen is gone and our drone attacks on ISIS will wither away.-Tom
