To my way of thinking, it is the acting on any temptation that transforms it from that to actual sin. Well said.
I would like to speed, but I resist the temptation (even to the point of not permitting myself to have a fast car). The idea of cheating on my taxes appeals to me, but I resist the temptation. The idea of 'being with' someone other than my spouse can also be appealing, but again, I resist the temptation.
In some ways, it isn't how you feel, it's what you do about it.
