No, Rush isn't a dork. It isn't his fault if you don't realize he was using the situation to illustrate how desperately liberals want complete control over everything. No need to thank me.

“It isn't his fault if you don't realize he was using the situation to illustrate how desperately liberals want complete control over everything. No need to thank me.”

Rush, sitting in Florida, using weather reports predicting a terrible storm for New York City, to dump on liberals because the storm wasn't horrible in New York City, was a dorky mistake on his part.

If I, a conservative, was the mayor of New York City, I would have done the same thing to prepare the people so lives could be saved. And, when it didn't materialize to horrible, I would say a prayer to God thanking him the city was saved.

Those preparations the citizens bought gives them preps right now for the next bad weather or power outage, etc..

Sometimes, Rush overextends his mouth. He left New York City so he wasn't there to be involved if the storm was terrible. If he had been there, I'm sure he would have stocked up on what he might need. I would also bet he's got hurricane preps in case a hurricane comes to his part of Florida.
