Sheldon Silver is like Charles Rangel, HE HAS HIS SEAT FOR AS LONG AS HE WANTS IT.
There’s a saying in Harlem... Charles Rangel could be caught in broad daylight by dozens of witnesses killing an innocent man and he’d still be elected Congressman.
Same is true with Silver. NYC is a lost cause.
Well, apparently Silver doesn't want it anymore, because he's resigning.
Of course, there's one obvious reason why Rangel was never prosecuted for tax evasion - a reason that doesn't apply to Silver.
