Negligence, recklessness, gross negligence, criminal negligence, malfeasance etc, come to mind.

Appears the suspect was subdued multiple times, yet was never cuffed/secured. That's simple standard procedure. And then he gets off her allowing her to get up again. Big no no.

If common sense procedures were followed, this would have never escalated or resulted in her death. She would be alive today.

This cop screwed up real bad and likely will be out of a career.

Big time lawsuit to follow...

I was with you, right up until that. He will get a pass.

He's done....Bet the rent.

You'll read about it in the future, somewhere buried in MSM.

Marked.

To gloat, if I’m right.

Or ignore, if you are right. ;)

If he was unable to find the gun she allegedly claimed to have or the knife due to heavy clothing, he may have chosen not to detain her.

If he was unable to get her into a position to place cuffs on her without assistance, because she was clearly not cooperating or being docile, he may have chosen to wait for backup assuming that we would then have enough time to safely get her into cuffs, but in actuality he would not have that time because of her actions.

Some possible reasons, however, I would think that he would have secured her. That seems reasonable to me.

But it is also reasonable to await the results of the investigation rather than to make predictions and such.

But I will go ahead and my my own prediction. If that officer is found to have violated proper procedure, I think he will be held accountable for it.

The other two officers involved did nothing wrong at all IMO.
