The article says “side of the house” at the start, which is confusing, but as I guessed it uses the word “sidewalk” toward the end.
It’s only reasonable to require homeowners and shop keepers to shovel the sidewalk in front of or alongside their house or store. Makes more sense than taxing everybody to pay public union workers to do the job.
And Kerry can certainly afford to pay someone to do it on a regular basis.
It’s what is called “poetic justice” in that case; the proponents of big government falling prey to it.
