I worked in the bush for two field seasons in the Yukon, Canada and I developed a very healthy respect for bears...both black and grizzly. They are not to be fooled with!

Seriously. twice in my life I have had blk bear put the stalk on me, front quarters down, butt high, ears going back and forth like crazy; came in real slow; me hollering and waving my arms; first bear I didn’t have to shoot, but was within 6 feet of me when he ran back 40 feet, then came in 2 more times before wandering off into the woods. He wasn’t coming into me for me to pet him either. Second time, I just shot the bear and didn’t mess with him. MOstly 1-2 year old boars do this to people. Kinda like hearing porkies scream, if you haven’t had bear put the sneak on bear; you really don’t have a lot of bear where you are at or don’t spend much time in the woods. I’m sure you agree too.
