I’ve studied the religion, too. Noticed that most of the hadiths and the Koran itself were written down mostly after Mohammed’s death, and there aren’t many (if any) copies dated earlier than about the 12th century, IIRC. This in a society that was literate from it’s start. I suspect considerable revisionism. Also, note that the last section of the Koran, supposedly the last one Mohammed gave, omits the opening phrases about Allah that every other verse has. That REALLY makes me suspect more than a little revisionism. That and the so-called organization of the Koran. Not historical, alphabetical, by subject, or some other system, but in order of length?
Seriously wonder what happened to all the older Korans and Hadiths that we don’t see any more.
