Good catch bray.

Closing Alaska may have more to do with helping the Saudis, Venezuela and Iran than we ever know.

The big war of course will be on fracking using methane and anything else they can pull out of their butts along the way.

Look for ozero, through the epa, to unilaterally close down fracking sometime this year.

Also, look for big oil not to fight too hard to stop it either. At least until the price gets back up above $75. per barrel where just about everything is profitable in the drilling world.

Profits are great. But when you buy out carburetors that get 50 mpg, gasoline additives that add 10 mpg. and collude with the govt. to keep more or less free energy which does exist off the market,(what do you think flew over Phoenix years ago) you are dealing with criminality. It's a real true blue price fixing scheme of gloal proportions.

Closing Anwar along with 40,000 layoffs in the Gulf of Mexico will tend to dry up supply in later years. So the price will stay will eventually up after this little blip until the next overproduction run by those countries who have to produce at any price to stay alive comes around. Bottom line for the price of crude oil to rise either the Saudis or the U.S. have to retard, restrict or kill off future production. Looks like it's us doing the dirty work. Even than capitalism reared it's head only to be dashed by big defunct corrupt governments.

Right now it is not profitable to drill in Alaska, but it should be in the future. To limit your reserves is only going to hurt the US. It appears the only reason we have made ANWAR a national park was to restrict oil production.

There isn't such a thing.

Carburetors are antique junk. EFI is state of art, you can monitor the actual fuel ratio and adjust it up and down with a laptop, in real time.

You can build a hydrogen generator and conduct your own experiments with that....little to no difference.

If you want 50 MPG, buy a Jetta TDI...no carburetor required.

I think that’s why O is so against anything that makes US independent...

He needs to help his buddies.

He’s the only president who I could see actually moving to a foreign country after he leaves office....

Don't forget the Russians and Venezuela; their entire economies run on oil production. We financed Marxism for decades as a put up enemy to liberty. We built Islam as an enemy as well.

Antithesis, thesis... corporate fascism. It's been a setup since before the ink was dry on the Constitution. You can read more about how it works here: Energy Racketeering: The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).
