They didn’t seem to have much trouble scaring the crap out of England with their “second rate” military, as you see it. Or for that matter, scaring the crap out of a US pilot, making him flee for his life over Sweden last summer.
But then again, your side seems to think that are militaries haven’t changed at all in the past two decades...so I’m not surprised by your comment.
Except those things never happened, you don’t seem to realize that Russia still depends on 1 year draftees, who are poorly trained and equipped.
Putin knows the reality his military faces if the Brits and America and NATO ever has to deal with it on the battlefield, or the Air, or the Sea.
