I am Lutheran, but grew up in a Jewish urban neighborhood. My childhood friends were either Jewish, Catholic or Lutheran. My field has a large Jewish presence. I probably understand the cultural mindset of (largely secular) urban Jews than you.
Jews do not reject Christianity. They only think about it when people try to proselytize. It reminds those of us with a historical sense of the Inquisition.
I am sure you are a good person, but if I were Jewish, I would be deeply offended by your comments.
