I know. The anti-vaxxers are miniscule in number, so small as to not make a difference. But liberals make unsubstantiated allegations, and yet say nothing about the teeming hordes of illegals aliens with no immunizations and blindly trust the administration when they say its ok to have ebola.
It's all about choice. Forced vaccinations are bullshit.
There are plenty of people out there who want to be cautious about vaccinations, and they have every right to be. And they vehemently oppose mandatory vaccinations. I have to agree, because it's another example of expanding state power to an arbitrary level.
If the state can force you to be injected against your will, they can pretty much do anything they want.
And our society should not be predicated on granting government the power to do virtually anything they want.
Better for there to be a few additional outbreaks of disease than to tolerate such arbitrary power.
I categorically reject such compromises with respect to individual Freedom; if it creates a situation which gives the state arbitrary power, it's wrong, no matter how "good for society" it portends to be.
