Heard Pillsbury on the Laura Ingraham show this morning. He said that the so called Nixon-Kissinger “opening of China” was actually initiated by China as part of their strategy to gain access to US know how and technology. And that China asked Nixon to come to China four or five times before Nixon finally decided to go. Declassified and perhaps leaked documents confirm this according to Pillsbury.
Always thought Nixon’s “opening of China” was a monumental mistake as long as they remained a communist nation, and all the dealings we’ve had with them since. We’ve enabled and enriched China to our long term detriment.
It was the only mistake Nixon made that was worse than Watergate.
And then Bill Clinton opened up the floodgates so his friends at Walmart could profit while the American working class was destroyed.
