There is something to be said for banning all adjectives in reporting, thus making the writer’s value judgements harder to poke through. It forces him to select nouns that will rise like a boil on the skin as his bias, should it be acute, emerges.

One common example of how adjectives color perception:
"moderate Republican"
"moderate Democrat"
We often hear of "moderate Republicans," but rarely of "moderate Democrats." Why? Because the MSM assume Democrats to be intrinsically moderate, whereas they assume Republicans to be intrinsically a bit weird or extreme. Ergo, the existence of a "moderate" Republican needs to be pointed out. And what is a "moderate Republican"? Generally, someone who favors no restrictions whatsoever on abortion or abortion funding. It is code.
