Now the gov tells them the ghetto rats get the same speed as that “willing to pay for it” private business. How much more expansion/updating do you think the provider is going to do in the future?

Same thing happened when the government forced all phone companies to open their comm-centers and cell towers to cheap-cost, low-service phone service providers like Click, and MetroPCS, etc... The big companies stopped expanding, and instead started investing in just better services, because they had to give access to existing technology to these government-created scavengers! At GTE (now Verizon), they stopped expanding and instead started developing their 4G LTE network (because NEW services didn't have to be sold to these little companies at a loss, like the existing services). Existing services had to be sold to these small companies for pennies on the dollar, so that these new companies could offer services to the "under-served."

Basically, US Government regulations STOPPED the expansion into those "under-served" areas, because the government wanted more taxes collected, so they created a cheap competitor to the large corporations! IDIOTS!

Forget about Net Neutrality or no... the FCC just takes over the internet? What law was passed? What if another agency wanted to take control of the internet? Could they just announce it? No? Then who says? Who coordinates this sort of lawless takeover?

They know they need to take over the last arena of free expression and ideas in this country.

Contrary to what we might like to believe, these progressives/fascists whatevers, are not stupid. They used the net in Egypt, Syria, etc. to orchestrate WAR and overthrows.

Here in America, they know they need to shut the freedom of information pipeline down...and the FCC is just the agency to do it.

If they can control the Bandwidth, they can control the content.

THAT is their intention. Communism at it’s finest.

If they plan to put Internet under Title 2, let me point out that Title 2 has a lot to do with licensing and fees:

Title II, "Broadcast Services": Outlines the granting and licensing of broadcast spectrum by the government, including a provision to issue licenses to current television stations to commence digital television broadcasting, the use of the revenues generated by such licensing, the terms of broadcast licenses, the process of renewing broadcast licenses, direct broadcast satellite services, automated ship distress and safety systems, and restrictions on over-the-air reception devices

Sec. 201. Broadcast spectrum flexibility.
Sec. 202. Broadcast ownership.
Sec. 203. Term of licenses.
Sec. 204. Broadcast license renewal procedures.
Sec. 205. Direct broadcast satellite service.
Sec. 206. Automated ship distress and safety systems.
Sec. 207. Restrictions on over-the-air reception devices.

Federal Tax
State Tax
City Tax
Fee for the hearing impaired tax
Fee for the visually challenged tax
Access for the disadvantaged tax
Environmental impact tax
Access tax for those who work for a living
Web site fees for the disadvantage tax
You make too much tax, starting at $2,500 per month graduated
Your a White Tax
Your not a White credit
You own your own business tax
You don’t own your own business credit
The Conservative penalty
The Leftist rewards program
The equalizer tax (foreign nationals to benefit)
The “We are the world” tax to fund internet access globally
The “Too much access” penalty tax
The “Politically Incorrect” taxes
The “You don’t believe in global warming” reduced access classification
The “You don’t recycle” tax

By the time this is done the internet resembles the entertainment industry, print, and television media

Another-words, it’s a vacant Leftist haven of iniquity and full time propaganda, that cannot be responded to on point

I was just going to type that, and saw your post.

If Congress defunds the FCC will each Congress member get charged with crimes like Rick Perry did? That’s where this is all headed.

That’s what they must do to stop Obama’s agenda.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see members harrassed.

I think this change will NOT be accepted unless there are guarantees stated clearly in writing that respects the First Amendment right of free speech.

It's the way things are done now. Obama tells some Department Head to do something, and they just do it.

Can't wait until the Federal Trade Commission starts closely monitoring and regulating domestic firearm production, with a goal of reducing the number of guns produced by 5% per year.

LOL! How quaint. You actually believe that these changes can be rejected.
