Is the contradiction just a lie for the infidels from muslim leaders then? It seems to me, and this is just my observation, that there is no depravity too low for muslim men. It is almost like they sit around and think of the most demonic, despicable acts. Women on the other hand, are nothing - just trapped in the hell of muslim men.

You’ve summed up my final conclusion on this matter.
As for bravery? It was a Marine FOB, albeit, the 3rd most active in Afghanistan.
I was originally a russian FOB with a 3 story poured concrete citadel that was first manned by the British. At least once, maybe twice, this FOB was over-run by the taliban, and the British retreated to the citadel until relief arrived.
Then the Marines arrived, and at first the taliban thought it was business as usual driving around with exposed AK’s and RPG’s within normal visual distance. This ended rapidly with us, on the PTDS, seeking weaponry out to many kilometers.
The pucker factor around this FOB was enormous.
We never had one bullet hole in the Aerostat in the 11 months and a week straight that I was there.
