And while .17 HMR is not cheap, but it’s no where near as expensive as .308 and .30-06.
My wife is normally very cooperative and agreeable regarding my gun purchases, so for the most part I was joking about having to convince her. However, she is also a much better manager of money than I, so if she says “not right now” to one of my prospective purchases it is best to put it off. I usually end up getting the guns I want - just not necessarily WHEN I want.
