Whose Job Is It to Kill ISIS?

Given the way things are going, I'd say it's going to fall to me and the ol' boys in the rod and gun club.

Has Buchanan become Muslim?

Or is he working for the Obama admin?

As for, “Which raises again the questions: Why did ISIS do it?”

He answers his own question. They want to fight Jordan.

It seems Pat's not really for any nation fighting ISIL. He's apparently advocating his magic isolationism for everyone. As soon as Pat can get the ISIS/ISIL/al-Qaeda alliance to go along with him on and his isolationist panacea, it just might work.

Well, it’s the Jordanians’ fight now, and if they really want to crush ISIS once and for all, then the U.S. should support them with whatever logistical and intelligence support (including drones) to help them with that goal.

There is a reason we are blessed with an ocean on either side of us. Build good fences and restrict flights and ship travel. Isolationist looks better every day. I am tired of being a policeman.

In my opinion, it is the job of every civilized person and every civilized nation, on the planet.

If one is in an area where ISIS is operating, and one meets a person who is a member of ISIS, one should kill that person.

If one is in an area as yet uninvaded by ISIS, and one meets a person who announces his/her intention to fight on the side of ISIS, one should kill that person.

If one is the president of a civilized nation with the most powerful military force on earth, one should cooperate with the civilized world by putting that military power to good use wherever one can, to attack, kill and eradicate as many members of ISIS, and its supporters, as is humanly possible.

Of course, I'm not sure WHAT a citizen of a civilized nation with the most powerful military force on earth is supposed to do if the president of that country is, at best, ineffectual at fighting ISIS, and at worst, an actual supporter. Pray?

Would it be considered a modern day crusade if there was an organized attack on these animals? What’s the difference between killing barbaric savages hundreds of years ago and launching another attack to beat them back again today?

With ISIS I think it really does take a village. This is a situation that you cannot pile on hard enough.

Killing pirates, tyrants, and terrorists is the job of ordinary people - in some cases through their elected representatives - but it is always everyone’s job. We should carpet bomb terrorist training camps, drone-strike terrorist leaders, and in all other respects make terrorism a low-gain career choice. Jordan, Europe, Israel, and even Russia should do the same.
