There are three sets of people who fear the Amendments Convention process and fear it especially now that the movement is gaining steam.
- The Left. They know that more states are in control of the Right than the Left, and they fear that the "progress" of a century will be undone by hicks, rustics, rednecks and religious fanatics.
- The Uninformed Right. God knows that Schlafly and the Birch Society mean well, but they don't know what the hell they're talking about.
- The Big Government Right. A large number of people on the Right want less liberty and more conformity, especially when it comes to their pet issues. They like the Federal Leviathan when they control it.
This is going to be an uphill struggle until the last quarter of this year when the government will grossly overstep its bounds, baring its fangs against the people, during the Worldwide Sovereign Debt Default Crisis that Martin Armstrong has predicted.

I can't disagree with anything in your post. With the pending takeover of the internet, the Left’s lock on communications will be complete. Considering all the power collected in the executive, I don't envision the Left will allow it to fall, ever, into non-Leftist hands
