A shot to the vena cava and you’re a goner. Surgeons would have a difficult time saving you even if you were shot on the operating room table. Or so they say. An anatomist would know that. Maybe he told her ar some point in their marriage. Or she had studied anatomy herself. But you’re right, it’s not the best way to go. Bleeding to death isn’t fun.

Women tend not to damage their face or head, which would leave an unattractive corpse. “Suicide” for women is more about communicating how unhappy they are, rather than ending their life, which is why they fail at it more than men.
