Do that and you’ll see the “gun violence” decline dramatically. But you’ll be called a racist and a bigot and a civil rights throwback for proposing a solution that would actually work.

Wow! He should check his white privilege at the Aspen Institute’s door.

Also, it’s adorable how he thinks that this certain group goes through legitimate purchase and background check channels to obtain their guns! Too cute.

LOL! Seriously? He’ll be lauded for his ‘progressive’(again) thinking. Wonder what mz. w(h)atts thinks about this. I’ll bet she crosses the street when she sees a young black person heading her way. Unless of course her armed ‘protectors’ are present.

In New York City, that’s called “experience.”

“Bloomberg consistently misunderstands cause and effect, and then decides that anti-Constitutional laws are the necessary government response, based on his illogical thinking.”

Wealthy people and powerful managers in companies never get corrected, never hear an alternative view and as a result develop a sense that they are never wrong. They lack introspection and an inquisitive nature because they are never informed that their views lack perspective. I call this Caesar Syndrome.

Civil liberty issues aside, it’s illegal guns that cause most of the problem. If that’s true, how will this help? It’s another example of disarming the predominantly law abiding.

So why should we disarm any law abiding US citizen?

Because it makes the rich liberal elites' armed bodyguards nervous when the rabble are able to shoot back.

...” the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, ‘if they are at least 18 for long guns and 21 for handguns’ shall not be infringed.” Found an original copy of it out here in Golden Valley the other day buried under some rocks. :>}

True enough. The only way it makes sense is if it was in the context of defending “Stop and frisk”, which I gather it was.

Ha! I love it.
Is this not profiling?

Did Bloomberg suddenly become a knuckle=dragging tea-con, racist? ... or ... oh wait, it’s the LEFT who are the racists.

Do pardon, the media has had it wrong all along I suppose.

And Bloomberg is still considered a Republican becaaauuuse.....

(I know there are liberal Republicans, but is there anything about this guy would actually categorize him as a Republican other than receiving party money for re-elections?)

Crickets............... Now if Sarah or Rick Perry or Ted Cruz or someone of that group were to make such a statement, the Sunday talk shows and twitter would already be blowing up.
