My wife prays every single day for the son we lost 10 years ago in Iraq. He was kind, compassionate and introspective - raised by a Mom who loved him.
Before they had ultrasound to determine the sex before birth, they just killed the girls outright, like the Greeks and Romans. The Chinese still expose girls.
Those two qualities usually go together IMO.

My brother served in the Marines, 3rd Division out of Kaneohe, HI. Served for 5 years 2004-2009. He was in Iraq during your son’s final deployment.

This story is (obviously) sickening and horrible if true, but after reading the original blog post, it just screams fake/troll/parody.
There is already a special place in Hell reserved for this “woman!”
Every abortion is "especially wrong". So this statement is half-right, but suggestive that somehow "sex selection" abortion is "worse" than other abortions.
The problem with this is that it plays into the liberal viewpoint of abortion as a "choice"; hence, we argue over what choice is more acceptable than others.
If you start from the correct view of life as sacred, then it makes no difference why someone decides to kill another human, it is just plain wrong.
With any luck, this girl will grow up, having read her mother’s writing, and regret the death of her brother, and vow not to let such a horrific thing happen again.
