Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg reportedly argued Friday that guns need to be kept out of the hands of minorities in order to keep them alive.
While speaking at the Aspen Institute, Mr. Bloomberg, 72, said 95 percent of murders fall into a specific category: a male minority between the ages of 15 and 25, The Aspen Times reported.
Cities need to get guns out of this group’s hands and keep them alive, the former three-term mayor said, according to The Times.
“These kids think they’re going to get killed anyway because all their friends are getting killed,” Mr. Bloomberg said, The Times reported. “They just don’t have any long-term focus or anything. It’s a joke to have a gun. It’s a joke to pull a trigger.”
Mr. Bloomberg brought up the New York Police Department’s stop-and-frisk practices, recalling a time during his last year in office when a Baptist minster in Harlem invited him to speak at their church, The Times reported.
“While I’m sitting there waiting for him to introduce me, he said to his congregation, ‘You know, if every one of you stopped and frisked your kid before they went out at night, the mayor wouldn’t have to do it,’” Mr. Bloomberg said. “And so I knew I was going to be OK with that audience.”

This PROVES that head-on assault on gun ownership has not only failed, but it has BACKFIRED.
Each time they make a move on guns, more people buy guns, and the (ever growing in numbers) gun owners want to KEEP THEIR GUNS...so they vote Republican. The media won’t report it, but I will - the Democrats are getting CREAMED on the gun issue.
Guns are different than virtually any other issue as they have the power to TURN VOTES from people that might be inclined (or are very inclined) to vote Democrat. But once they own guns - they will vote to KEEP THEIR GUNS, and that generally means Republicans.
Whites voted 89% REPUBLICAN in Mississippi last year, and at at least 70% Republican throughout the South and in many other states. Want to guess what percentage of whites own guns? Read the first sentence of this paragraph and those are probably accurate estimates. In Texas, and other Southern states HISPANICS voted 45% Republican...I suspect that they also want to keep their guns.
With whites voting almost as a block, and Hispanics following along to the extent of splitting their votes - DEMOCRATS CANNOT WIN (hence my tagline). If these voting patterns spread to the Midwest, IT IS OVER for Democrats as a national party. The Democrats know that, but their problems with is psychological - they cannot control themselves. Instead they’re left with saying things like “Nobody wants to take your guns”...which is true today (at the national level), but ONLY because Republicans have stopped them. If they had their way, we’d be pretty much disarmed by now.
They are ON THE ROPES and if the Republican leaders would just STOP listening to their ‘advisers’ (most of them gay, by the way), we can finish them off - but we also need to hold firm on Amnesty...the one issue that will keep the Republican base from turning out.

That’s how gun control began in Michigan. Dr. Ossian Sweet was a successful black physician who moved his family into a white upscale Detroit neighborhood in the 1920’s.
The community acted out against that and a large mob broke into the home threatening to kill all the occupants. Dr. Sweet drew a revolver, fired and chased the mob out.
He was tried and acquitted of attempted murder.
As a result of that, handgun purchases had to be approved, and a concealed pistol permit system began. It was a “may issue” system that excluded permits to blacks, Catholics, Italians, and most Jews.
The may issue permitting ended about 10 years ago when Michigan became a “shall issue” state.
Crime has dramatically dropped.

Yikes, not only is he a gun grabber and soda pop size nanny but now he advocates for special laws that only would apply to certain minorities? Didn’t Hitler try that once, or doesn’t Bloomtard remember? Sheesh.
It is an historic fact that some of the first gun control laws in the U.S. were passed by Democrats in the South after Reconstruction to disarm freed slaves and keep them from defending themselves from the KKK wing of the Democrat party.
