Well, “the states” sure aren’t doing a lot to fight back in a way that pokes a finger in the feds’ eye.

How about some state just saying “no”, and daring the feds to enforce it?

I absolutely agree with you.

It would be the turning point in this culture war for the traditional culture to stand up and say ‘Hell no.”

The same with common core: Parents could nullify it in a heartbeat. “Institute it and we keep our kids home until it’s gone. Period.”

Done as a mass protest, there would be no stopping the people.

Chief Justice Roy Moore ordered the courts in Alabama to disobey the imposition of gay marriage upon his state.

The feds’ response will be to not send federal funding back to the states that refuse to capitulate, while still collecting taxes from said states. The states need to back up their refusal to toe the line by withholding taxes from the feds.

State AG’s say no and then the Feds overrule the state courts and nothing happens after. It;s a disgrace and I hope those idiots which state they have no problem with homosexual marriage wake the hell up for once.

"Well, “the states” sure aren’t doing a lot to fight back in a way that pokes a finger in the feds’ eye."

Actually, the States are fighting back, finally:
1. Some 25 States are sueing Obambi regarding his over-reach on amnesty;
2. Numerous States are passing many laws for "open carry" and "conceal carry";
3. Some 36 States have not signed on to Obamicare. They also have a lawsuit against the subsidies that are illegal for those States that didn't institute such;
4. The majority of Governors up for relection were replaced by Republicans, as well as most State legislatures.

We can argue about RINOs, but there is a trend growing for State sovereignty.

STATES' RIGHTS!

Exactly. They did arrest the VA gov when he had not broken one Va law. Afraid he would become Pres. For the states to think they have to take this garbage is plain silly. We can read the constitution. It’s time we stopped it all ! We can use the Fed for possible the military, but not much more. The justice dept ect should be ended. We will govern ourselves. It’s unconstitutional. The supremes, see ya !

Judge Roy Moore is taking a stand again, Governor ducks issue.
