It is highly unlikely that the measles came from the illegals. Measles vaccination rates in Mexico and Central America are as high or higher than here in the U.S., and measles cases are essentially non-existent there (as here).

Probably correct. I think the most dangerous place to take your unvaccinated (that is, “unvaccinatable”) newborn infant might be the produce section of your neighborhood Whole Foods store.

And when you park your car in the store’s lot, try not to let your kids approach a Volvo, Prius hybrid, or BMW that has a child’s seat.

Indeed. As I noted on another thread, Mexico and Central America may be poorer than the US, but they have the advantage of not having a large population of granola-brained hippie nincompoops.
