Yep. Lots of secondary guidance available. And there's always the prospect of it being autonomous. Well, "prospect" might not be a strong enough word. ;-)

Have you ever served on a NIMITZ class? Little tiny bits of metal all over the flight deck doesn’t make for an uneventful cycle. Jets tend to scoop the stuff up and turbine blades unfortunately disintegrate, causing more FOD.

Au Contraire...

In a Jan. 27 test off of San Niolas Island, California, the Navy launched a TLAM which was guided into a moving maritime target through directions given by a Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet flying overhead.
