Whatever is done to dismantle the negative aspects of ocare needs to be done carefully, else more damage will be done to the healthcare sector. I think a first step is allow people to opt for major medical policies, within or without ocare involvement.

Get rid of the “extra” requirements applied to all of the medical coverages via ACA too.

It’s all negative, it’s a cancer-kill it. True, there are some parasitic companies (mandatory emr), IRS agents, government bureaucrats that will be harmed as well they should.

Allowing people to buy insurance plans suited to their needs in an open and free market is a start. ALL MANDATES MUST BE CANCELLED. States will still have oversight of the health insurance industry and that’s enough for me. If insurance companies want sell the overpriced catastrophic 0-care plans, fine, and let’s see if there are enough stupid people for that market.
