But, but, but. What about the Crusades? Oh, wait. Apparently we’ve advanced in the last thousand or so years. I-slam, not so much.

He and his ilk hate America. People cannot seem to grasp that fact.

“...there are other extraordinary contrasts between occurrences then and now.”

Not the least of which is, WE evolved and developed and our culture systematically rejected violence as policy ... while they did NOT. They are genetic throwbacks and failed to evolve. They have chromosomes missing.

What ELSE explains their continual and blind acceptance of such a brutal and backward ideology?

In addition to using the Crusades and the Inquisition to excuse their abhorrent behavior, Islamists and their apologists also cite the actions of the ancient Israelites during the conquest of Canaan.

I rarely hear Islamics (or their ilk) reference the conquest of Canaan. Yes, it was brutal - but to acknowledge it would be to accept that the Bible is historically accurate, and that the Israelites are the 'Deed-holders' of the land. And most of the Islamics, and their supporters, flee from that idea.

The analogy with the genocide of Exodus is faulty. It doesn’t work. The Israelites were commanded to eliminate one group of people in one location in one time period. Moslems are instructed by their god to kill everyone who is not Moslem everywhere in the world at any time ever. The violence of the Israelites was limited in time and space and target. That of the Moslems is infinite.
