The truth is that this type of action has always been going on. evil is not new. we just hear about it with the internet and television a lot more then before we had these4 modern forms of communication.
When I was a kid there were a few accounts of happenings that would rival this one, but the difference was that they made national news shocking people to the bone. People talked about the incidences for long times and they became indelibly marked on the public conscience.
Now these kinds of things happen every day and they are usually are just a blip on the news and soon people forget, going onto the next blip. They often don’t even get national coverage. We do live in very evil times. Things in this Country were vastly different just 30 or so years ago. We are reaping what we have sown.
In the 50s the punishment would have been more severe and more sure. We’re supposed to be more civilized but we turn our backs on this for the most part. There were open houses of prostitution in the small mining towns but nothing like this would have been tolerated.
