For the troops and their families, that is unfortunately true.
Did I miss the congressional authorization?
Is that part of the Constitution a dead letter too?
My sympathies to all those being deployed; I fear they won’t be given a clear mission, won’t be able to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and will just be more casualties in another of the endless no-win US “wars”
No kidding, the last of the Afghanistan deployments just got back to Carson several months ago. I guess the good thing is that it might stave off some of the cuts that are being contemplated for the Mountain Post. Hopefully Lamborn will be able to keep it fully funded and staffed.
