Well, regardless of his intention, he is probably right that the Ukes are just someone else’s puppets.
In order to see what the stakes are, a little history is in order .... from a previous post of mine:
Ukraine was a founding state, along with Russia of the U.S.S.R. The U.S.S.R had a thing called the Warsaw Pact a competitor of NATO.
The West broke both the Warsaw Pact and the U.S.S.R by bankrupting it with a long cold war of arms buildup.
Look how many Ex Warsaw Pact countries are now NATO members.
Its obvious Russia isn’t going to let Ukraine enter NATO without a war over it. Its the last kick of a the dying socialist republic.
Russia is a dirty kleptocracy advancing their Russian World project, where somehow every country has no freedom and is ruled by a President-for-life. For some reason Ruskies think that only reason people don’t like to be under that system must be CIA brainwashing.
Ukraine was a founding member of the USSR, because they lost their War of Independence against Soviet Russia.
All the leaders of that region are power hungry and corrupt. Just the like ones on this side of the pond.
I assume he some proof of this claim?
Putin does nothing but lie.
Last Spring they stopped being Russian puppets, that is why he is upset
No evidence that NATO is even interested in Ukraine. They haven’t even received a bullet in support.
Of course he is mad about that. But whose puppets are they now?
You worry that if we don’t allow Russia to enslave Ukraine during this invasion and move the Russian Army up to NATO’s borders as they reassemble the threat of the evil empire, that Ukraine may come to join the West and continue as a free and peaceful nation?
Canada sent some winter clothes and is now sharing their sattellite images, but afaik only lithuania has sent things that go bang (I assume the APC they sent has autocannon).
As in one APC?
They probably didn’t send any weapons on the vehicle either.
At least CNN is being honest.
Yeah, that’s exactly what I think/said./s
It’s not our business.
At Least Putin is being honest about who he is too.

Sure it is our business, we were at war with them for generations, they collapsed and now are rebuilding, and they are conquering our neighbors to move their forces up to our borders.
Russia fighting wars to regain their strategic position to again threaten the West with enslavement, is of some interest to us.
I would hope that the Ukrainians fighting the Russians are pro-America, I hope that all free nations are.
Well, then, what should we do?
