Small scale conflicts, sure they can handle. But large scale prolonged war is not sustainable for them. They knew it during the cold war and know it now.

And sure they are trying to regain territory lost and if Ukraine can hold them off, good for them.

However, should we support every country or group that opposes Putin, no matter their disposition?

Sure, Ukraine says they are pro-west because most there don’t like Putin and he is stomping on them. Who wouldn’t say that?

Then after we stop supporting them they will turn into another corrupt dictatorship.

During the Cold war their plan was to conquer us and the problem was, at what moment could that be accomplished, to have made it worthwhile.

They built a massive empire and had a massive military force unlike anything the world has seen, and all of it built on attack and defeating us in a quick, massive, and brutal attack.

Currently they are in the process of rebuilding and fighting their way back to empire, I oppose that.

You don’t, you don’t even want money going to Ukraine, no weapons, no support of any sort, nothing to get in Russia’s way.

There is ZERO reason for Ukraine not to have the support of other countries, we are friends with and still conduct military exercises in Ukraine, why should we submit to Russia? Why should anyone submit to Russia?
