Wouldn't that be in the original Latin?

No, actually Marcus Aurelius wrote his Meditations in Greek.

Most of the ruling class in the Roman Empire, even in the Latin speaking West, had Greek tutors and were bilingual (very handy, that, when pretty much everyone in the more populous geographical half of the Empire spoke Greek), and curiously a lot of the Roman historians even before the Imperial period wrote in Greek rather than Latin.
