Our Plan for Countering Violent Extremism ([B]HARF Alert)
wsj.com ^ | John 'Purple Heart' Kerry

Posted on 02/19/2015 6:27:19 AM PST by RoosterRedux

The rise of violent extremism represents the pre-eminent challenge of the young 21st century. Military force is a rational and often necessary response to the wanton slaughters of children, mass kidnappings of schoolgirls, and beheading of innocents. But military force alone won’t achieve victory. In the long term, this war will be won only by deploying a broader, far more creative arsenal.

A safer and more prosperous future requires us to recognize that violent extremism can’t be justified by resorting to religion. No legitimate religious interpretation teaches adherents to commit unspeakable atrocities, such as razing villages or turning children into suicide bombers. These are the heinous acts of individuals who distort religion to serve their criminal and barbaric cause.

A safer and more prosperous future also requires us not to be distracted by divisions grounded in hatred or bias. There is no room in this fight for sectarian division. There is no room for Islamophobia or anti-Semitism. Violent extremism has claimed lives in every corner of the globe, and Muslim lives most of all. Each of us is threatened, regardless of ethnicity, faith or homeland. We must demonstrate to the terrorists that rather than divide us, their tactics unite us and strengthen our resolve.

No interpretation is necessary. Mohammed advocated genocide of uncooperative tribes. He would have advocated suicide bombers had he had the technology back then. Mohammed's actions speak louder than any modern interpretation of written text.

Exactly what have the terrorists done that the so-called prophet Muhammed didn’t do?

Invasion followed by:
*Theft?
*Destruction of non-Muslim cultural and religious symbols?
*Forced conversions?
*Beheadings of the captive men?
*Slavery, including sexual slavery, of women and children?
*Stonings?

Exactly what has ISIS done that the murderous scumbag Mohammed didn’t do himself and demand of his followers?

The State Department says jobs programs are the answer.

They’re setting us up to pay reparations to the world. Welfare, food stamps, the whole thing.

Hell, if we’re going to do that we might as well set up a global financial system, huh?

I wish Las Vegas odds makers would start taking bets and setting odds on Obamas Predictions.

Nothing this guy predicts ever comes true. Everything he touches is a failure.

Its not only an Obama problem, its a problem with the foreign governments involved like UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s “Conservative Party”.

His Home Secretary Theresa May told the BBC today:

“we as governments are very clear-we need to look at extremism across the whole spectrum and that’s why we are working on an extremism strategy”

They say that one day this woman may lead the Tories in the UK.

With comments like those its no wonder a lot of folks will vote UKIP on election day May 7th.

Everything he touches is a failure.

Everything he touches is a failure for America...not for Obama.

Many of them may know it's BS. But they want to keep their jobs, so they say what Obama tells them to say.

"Every intelligent American can see that beheading people and burning them alive
in cages is just a cry for help from these misunderstood people who are really
just victims of American white privilege..

A free pass at a two year agricultural college and an EBT card is all they need to
turn their lives around and become productive citizens working for world peace
and the betterment of all mankind."

Yeah but we can’t blame all those things on only one religion,

even though, today, only one religion is doing all of those things.

They sure as hell have strengthened my resolve that I don’t want anything to do with them.

We are never going to change the culture in Muslim dominated countries (or regions, countries don’t seem to be working out as a concept for them). Let the ‘moderates’ of Islam change the culture.

Going over there and trying to force onto them “democracy” and Western ways of doing things DID NOT WORK and WILL NOT EVER WORK. Why should it?

We cannot change them. We can only shun them.

However, if they come after us in our lands and try to change our culture, we must destroy them. (This is why we must not try to change their culture, so we are not hypocrites).

Let they them sit in their own excrement over there ... slaughter and torture each other in unspeakable ways ... this is their right. We have no business trying to change them in their own lands. Nor should we send them aid or assistance of any kind because this signifies that we, in some way, condone what they do.

I do not condone anything about this culture and do not wish to support it or defend it in any way. And I don’t want our young people going over there to essentially protect some Muslims from other Muslims.

What a waste!
