That's a escalation if true.

The Russians themselves have shot planes down for less.

Practice and terror.
Secondary to Obola-the-Undocumented Moslem terrorist-plant
being “more flexible” as he treasonously promised.

Mad Vlad Putin is going to intimidate Europe as he reacquires his empire, he has even flown them “near” (over for all we know) Guam etc.
But still Putinista’s will say this is all none of our business.

That part of England is beautiful, and I want to return to visit some day.
However, in spite of the great people, nothing of importance has happened there since 1620.
“On September 6, 1620, the Mayflower sailed from Plymouth with what ... had to stop at Newlyn in Cornwall on the Land’s End peninsula before sailing west.”
I had a couple of ancestors on that little ship.

Russians invading your airspace and even flying over your land but hey UK, you have free healthcare!! This is what happens when the world’s greatest Navy is just a poor reflection of it’s former glory. Rule Britania!! We don’t need the RAF, we have our social programs to spend money on...
To: McGruff
What is more telling??
That a Russian Bomber flew into UK Airspace??
Or that the decline of the UK Military has become so bad, that they can’t intercept a 30 year old prop plane before it did?

The British should send out one of their aircraft carriers.
What? They don’t have one?
Maybe they could send the Russians some Beatle albums.

That Bear pilot just wanted to prove himself in the Mach Loop, but he didn’t realize that Cornwall is not in Wales.
To: tcrlaf
Its worse than that - the Bear first flew in 1952!

Vlad needn't fear. He's been promised flexibility by the only man on earth who can stop him.
To: GeronL
Maybe if he toughens up Europe, they might save themselves from self-destructing with compassion for the Muslim hordes.

I’ve been looking up halfways expecting to see one over Maine.
Those counter rotating turboprops must make a fairly distinctive sound, don’t they?
They look a lot like a B-52 with 4 blenders strapped on to the wings.
What is that long rod sticking out of the nose - electronics or a cannon?

Putin follows up on his sham Ukranian peace conference with this. Any blind man, except Obama, can see where this is going. Ah well, we must get back to appeasing the Islamists.

The props give it the radar signature of a building. And it can be heard at cruise altitude by submarine listeners.
It would be useless for dropping bombs overhead but it doesn’t have to. The bear can be loaded with cruise missiles and hit from 1000 miles away with GPS accuracy.

actually, i think it is PERFECT for dropping bombs or nukes from overhead. It apparently got right up the coast, or even overland, of the UK without any resistance. Bet it could skirt our coast the same. Bet it could get within 50 miles of DC without any resistance. And do damage before our skirts running the military could get their mouths off obamas tool to respond.

The Channel Dash, codenamed Operation Cerberus by the Germans,[a] was a major naval engagement during World War II in which a German Kriegsmarine squadron consisting of both Scharnhorst-class battleships, and the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen along with escorts, ran a British blockade and successfully sailed from Brest in Brittany to their home bases in Germany via the English Channel. On 11 February 1942, the Kriegsmarine 's ships left Brest at 21:14 and escaped detection for more than 12 hours, approaching the Straits of Dover without discovery.[1] As the German ships passed through the straits and on into the North Sea, British armed forces intercepted them, and the Royal Air Force, the Fleet Air Arm and Coastal Artillery attacked. The attacks and bombardment were unsuccessful, and by 13 February all the Kriegsmarine 's ships had completed their transit.[2] In support of the German naval operation, the Luftwaffe launched Operation Donnerkeil (Thunderbolt) to provide air superiority for the passage of the ships. The Channel Dash remains the only occasion since the Anglo-Dutch Wars that warships hostile to the United Kingdom have successfully traversed the English Channel.[citation Channel Dash - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Dash
