Texas, California and New England could be stand alone countries easily. The smaller states could too. Look at Israel 8 million people and they have a pretty good thing going on.

I am sure the sovereign nation of Texas can come up with a way of taking care of the health needs of 3.2 million medicare recipients. It’s just an insurance program. The Texas equivalent will probably make more sense and actually work. A freed Texas would be able to actually make it work without the shackles of FedGov. Does that answer your question?
