It does strike me as odd that these Fox News folks seem to take up conservative positions, all “shield maiden” like, (like with their recent bashing of Obama on the Islam issue) only to roll over on other politically correct controversies.

I’d argue something more like “Most people are exposed to many opinions in their formative years, but somewhere in President Obama’s past, he has been persuaded of a worldview that seems to prevent him from, as a matter of course, expressing a love of his country in the way leaders like President Truman (add other names as desired) have. Maybe this came from Rev. Wright, maybe it was Saul Alinsky, maybe it was (add 2 or 3 more names?)”

I find little to disagree with Giuliani here. Giuliani stood his ground without flinching. Good for him. I don’t know why he backed down when Kelly tried to accuse him of calling Obama “unpatriotic.” Well, you put it altogether, what else do you have?
Kelly takes such an adversarial approach to her guests. I think presenting the other side to challenge the guest is one thing, but she took an adversarial stand against everything he said.
