I remember back in the late '70s and early '80s when Bill O'Reilly was doing soft news on
A Current Affair. Sort of a five-nights-a-week version of
Real People or
That's Incredible. He came across as a John Davidson type back then, except that he was trying harder. Kind of like Geraldo Rivera. I didn't take him seriously.
