A Current affair with Maury Povitch
Yes! You could be right! Maybe it was Inside Edition that O'Reilly was on.
My recollection was that someone - the federal government, or some TV industry group - had mandated the creation of a "family time" on weekday nightly television. It was after the national news, but before Prime Time (which was the name of one of the shows, in Philadelphia).
During this time, TV stations were supposed to air "family-friendly" do-gooder type programming.
Shows like Inside Edition, A Current Affair, Hard Copy, Prime Time, etc., were syndicated to fill this niche time slot.
Mary Hart, Nancy Glass, and John Tesh were some of the other personalities seen on these shows.
OHHHHH I remember that Hard Copy they are one that brought Jacko case in 1990s they interview one of the witneses that how yenta Jane Velez Mitchell got her big break
It was Inside Edition, and it was the late 80s, early 90s. Not 70s/80s. He was with CBS in the early 80s.
