This was the year of the Olympics, and this man, who had been around since the first wave of the British Invasion, was still going strong. This is haunting, a great tune.

This is a good example of West German angst, as the increasing tensions of the Cold War before Gorbachev caused a great many Europeans to wonder if Reagan was going to get them all killed. This is a product of its era.
