Walmart doesn't hire felons and you have to pass a drug test, that limits the pool of unskilled workers.

With all of the endless government give always, WM has to make actually working a better deal than sitting at home leaching off the taxpayers.

I think that is a big part of it; for too long people in low-wage jobs lived little better than welfare parasites who didn’t have to exert themselves at all...
