The chasm between Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama when it comes to their views of America and the world could hardly be wider. But on today's Up With Steve Kornacki, when the host asked the Washington Post's Jonathan Capehart whether President Obama talks and thinks about America differently from Reagan [and Clinton and Carter], Capehart emphatically replied "No. Rudy Giuliani is lying."

Bush said that all of our intelligence sources indicated Saddam had WMD. When (for whatever reason) the WMD were not paraded in triumph by the US military, the Left decided that Bush "Lied".
Giuliani states an opinion about Obama's feeling toward this country, and the Left says he's "lying".
You know what? I think "Citizen Kane" is the best movie ever made. But that may be a "lie".
Black Americans have been taught by self-serving leftists that because there was once slavery in parts of the U.S., there is no such thing as liberty.
The truth is, Progressive Leftists are opposed to individual liberty as defined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The only real complaint they have about chattel slavery in America two hundred years ago is that the slaves were privately owned.
But they get orgasmic over the idea of slavery to the state.
Democrats never pass up on opportunity to tell us why enslavement by the state is for our own protection and our own safety, because life under the anarchy that conservatives want to impose is just too risky and dangerous. We can't have any of that inhumane "on-your-own economics" that conservatives advocate.
Thereby proving that you no longer have to be black to be an Uncle Tom.
This is another missed opportunity for the RNC. They should put their gnomes to the task of comparing Reagan quotes on America to those, or the lack of those, submitted by the current president.
Instead, all hands are busy knocking the TEA folks.
Well, we do have some nice golf courses.
