Congressional Democrats are getting a little uncomfortable in the bed they’ve made for themselves when it comes to Israel, and the latest round involves a letter that’s been addressed to Speaker of the House John Boehner. They are requesting the Speaker put off the speech from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu until after the negotiations with Iran have expired. Of course, that is the primary reason why Netanyahu wants to speak with a joint session of Congress in the first place. Israel has the greatest stakes in the negotiations with Iran, but have been making accusations that the U.S. is freezing them out of the negotiations.

Perhaps the Democrats that are so incensed by the concept of possibly having to alienate Jewish constituents that may not support them in the future if they do not show up for Netanyahu’s speech should have done their homework on Iran before starting this.

Democrats need to show up for Netanyahu’s speech. If democrats do not show up for the speech, then they hate Jews as much as Obama does.
Wonder how many news networks will tow the presidents line, and now televise the speech.
I wonder how serious the Sultan is in preventing the Israeli PM from speaking to Congress. If he is quite determined then it won’t happen. There will be an incident of some sort.
We’re talking about people who are driven by religion first. Obama isn’t dealing with politicians no matter how they structure their government. The mullahs pull all the strings. What Iran has is what ISIS wants. They are not going to make political decisions but rather choices they feel inspired to make. You cannot negotiate with those people. They don’t believe in negotiating.
And to them truth is anathema and those who speak it are "extremists".
These are times of universal deceit.

Giuliani are we cannot sell out to Iran like Chamberlain sold out to Hitler.
Congressmen shouldn’t be so concerned what voters think as the long term consequences. Even if voters didn’t listen to Netanyahu’s speech, doing the right thing doesn’t change.
