I saw Bill Whittle on C Span last night. He makes the case that we should begin our dialogues with the moderate, which are in truth undecided people, who either do not have the entire facts, or are using faulty logic, try introducing the topic on an emotional level, because that is how they are wire, but then prove to them, conservative ways are better because THEY ACTUALLY DO GOOD, rather than just make you feel good, which most times in the hands of the left, are very destructive and have the opposite effect intended.

William F Buckley was surely an intellectual giant.He was so much more intelligent...and so much more articulate...than me that a good portion of what he said went straight over my head.OTOH,Bill Whittle,who I've followed for some time on youtube,is just inarticulate enough so that a dunce like me can,after lengthy consideration and many turns to the dictionary and history books,understand *exactly* what he's saying and what point(s) he's trying to make.
The guy's amazing!
