I worked at Mayor’s Jeweler’s.....she must have bought a very small trinket!
According to the article, she took out several loans over a period of years to purchase several items of jewelry, including a Rolex watch.

They are not loans per se.....she just put them on a Mayor’s charge account. Rolex watches can be $25,000.00 or more a pop.
