Colt made both military and civilian models, so it could have been a civilian’s personal piece. Not having documentation won’t hurt it; it just won’t help with its authentication history and ownership trail. Such documents usually add value to it.

I like the idea, but just looked at a few YT vids of a Norinco 1887 and a PW 87, and they both had ejection problems and were not very accurate beyond 25ft. Is there something better out there?

Norinco makes some great stuff and they make some crap.
I have a Norinco Tokarev that shoots true and accurate never jams, but Lord! Try to rack the slide!
